So, incase you were wondering why there has been a long break in posting, its cos I went away sooner than I had expected, and didn’t get the chance to post.

Anyhoo, now that that is all cleared up, where to start…

I just got home today from a nice week away in Ramsgate (KZN) with my girlfriend and her family. It was a nice quick getaway, just what I needed before the start of Uni again – which starts tomorrow by the way – bringing and end to my 2 week rest period, and throwing me face first back into real life.

So with the new semester starting I’m sure that there will be plenty to post about so, keep coming back y’all.

Three sugars

And some of those small marshmallow thingies…

Since my dad decided to invest in this neato coffee machine – see picture below – it’s been café du coffee here at the house. It’s so much fun creating all different types of coffees, just like in the restaurants. You are able to create anything you want from filter coffee, cappuccino to that delicious hot chocolate, thanks to the milk frother. The variety is endless. It could just be the greatest thing my dad has invested in, besides me that is

My brother is the coffee cynosure (also thanks to him for the pics) as you can see by the almost perfect cappuccino in the picture. So for any coffee lover, this appliance is a definite must.

Podcast

So being on holiday there isn’t much really going on. Tonight I spent in with my girlfriend, doing the whole baby-sitting thing for her parents godchild which was pretty easy. It followed in 3 simple steps.

Step 1: Put on a movie (in this case it was Monsters Inc)

Step2: Provide a comfy chair for child to sit/laze in

Step 3: Wait for young child to pass out

With these three simple steps, baby-sitting is totally made easy.

The whole Podcasting thing is taking us by storm, so I have decided to jump on the bandwagon and start doing some, so keep checking out the site, and I should have some up pretty soon – once I decide what is worth casting about.

Holiday shmoliday…

Tomorrow is “recess” – or so they call it – for UJ, so what that basically means is that we have a 2 week break till the start of the next term or second quarter of the 1st semester. I know it’s all very complicated, so look at it this way. I don’t do work till the 10th of April. Although having a holiday is neat and all, 2 weeks really isn’t much, considering in school we got 6 weeks off or something stupid – Yes Yes I hear you all scream “your not in school anymore” and I know that, but I’m greedy and 6 weeks would be fantastic, but I’m also a realist, and right now I’ll take anything that I can get.

In other news I’m going to be studying a few more courses this year threw INTEC so when I know all the details about those I’ll let everyone know. So in the coming months I’m going to be very busy and with all this and that.
